Breathe, Meditate, Relax
The key to proper meditation is breathing. If you can breathe properly or learn to breathe properly then you can relax and enjoy life. Of course, there is not just one way to meditate. There is more than one technique.
Which meditation technique is right for you depends on a number of factors. One of the important factors is personal style. But regardless of style and other external factors, your ability to concentrate on your meditation technique is one of the most important aspects of meditation and that requires regulation of your breathing. You can sit, stand or lie down – whatever it takes, but you must breathe.
Some people use tools like beads and prayer cloths when they meditate. That’s OK. If they help you get in the mood or enter the proper mental frame then they are fine. Still, at the end of the day, if you want to relax then you’ve got monitor your breathing. Meditation all about the breathing.
